Bluetopia movie premiere set for Saturday, April 18

LOS ANGELES - "Bluetopia," a chronicle of the Dodgers' 2008 season seen through the eyes of various fans, debuts at a "blue carpet" premiere on Saturday evening, April 18, at the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood at 7:30 p.m. Dodgers personalities are expected to attend. DVD sales begin on Tuesday, April 21.

Produced by Bombo Sports & Entertainment and directed by Timothy Marx ("Arliss," "Entourage"), "Bluetopia" features unique access to Dodgers players in the clubhouse and off the field. The movie includes behind-the-scenes footage of Clayton Kershaw's major league debut, the arrival of Manny Ramirez, and insightful anecdotes about many of the club's young rising stars.

The film follows the 2008 season with fans from all walks of life, including tattoo artists, grandmothers, attorneys, celebrities, and more.

Bonus content on the DVD includes interviews with Dodgers legends Don Newcombe and Maury Wills, an extended interview with Russell Martin, and an inside look at Greg Maddux's mid-season acquisition.
