Rob Lowe, Mario Lopez, Antonio Gates, "Sugar" Shane Mosley, Joel Madden, and many more to play in 51st Annual Hollywood Stars game this Saturday

Top celebrities in film, television, music, and sports will come together at Dodger Stadium this Saturday, July 25, to play in the 51st annual Hollywood Stars Game, presented by Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. The celebrity softball game will begin at 5:00 p.m. and will be followed by the Los Angeles Dodgers-Florida Marlins game at 7:10 p.m. Parking and stadium gates will open to the public at 4:40 p.m. More than 30 celebrities will comprise the two teams, led by honorary captains Orlando Hudson and Randy Wolf.

The full roster of stars scheduled to appear in the game includes Rob Lowe ("The West Wing," "Brothers & Sisters"), Mario Lopez ("Extra," "Saved by the Bell"), Dave Annable ("Brothers and Sisters"), "Sugar" Shane Mosley (Welterweight Champion of the World), Antonio Gates (NFL Tight End/San Diego Chargers), Adam Carolla ("The Adam Carolla Podcast"), Joel Madden (Lead Singer for Good Charlotte), Jessica Lowndes ("90210"), James Denton ("Desperate Housewives"), James Van Der Beek ("Dawson's Creek"), Ian Ziering ("Beverly Hills, 90210"), Tom Arnold (Actor/Comedian), Tom Green (Actor/Comedian), Melissa Rivers ("Celebrity Apprentice"), Meat Loaf (Musician), Scott Stapp (Lead Singer for Creed), Neal McDonough ("Desperate Housewives"), David Charvet ("Baywatch," "The Superstars"), Brian Baumgartner ("The Office"), Willie McGinest (NFL Linebacker/Three-Time Super Bowl Champion), Josh Henderson ("Desperate Housewives," "90210"), Robert Hoffman ("She's the Man," "Aliens in the Attic"), Daren Kagasoff ("Secret Life of the American Teenager"), Aimee Teegarden ("Friday Night Lights"), Jake T. Austin ("Wizards of Waverly Place"), Jennifer Stone ("Wizards of Waverly Place"), Kate Linder ("The Young and the Restless"), Adrian Pasdar ("Heroes"), Kate Flannery ("The Office"), David Denman ("The Office"), Robert Griffith (13-year NFL Veteran), Kirk Morrison (NFL Linebacker/Oakland Raiders), Shaun Phillips (NFL Linebacker/San Diego Chargers), Will Demps (NFL Star/Model), and Michael Rosenbaum ("Smallville").

Patrick O'Neal from Fox Sports PRIME TICKET will join 790 KABC's Josh Suchon and Ken Levine as emcees for the game, announcing the celebrity players as they come to bat, offering play-by-play commentary, and conducting on the spot interviews throughout the game.

All fans with tickets to the Dodgers-Marlins game are encouraged to come early for the Hollywood Stars Game, including the opportunity to watch from Dodger Stadium's outfield grass and warning track. Additional auction winners will take part in pre-game and in-game festivities, with proceeds benefiting the Dodgers Dream Foundation. Those fans will act as an honorary photographer, an honorary coach, or an official Hollywood Stars batkid. Other auction winners will read the celebrity team lineups or take the field with a celebrity at the start of the game and receive their autograph.

Media opportunities with celebrities participating in the event will take place on the field from 4-5 p.m., before the Hollywood Stars Game. All media requesting credentials for the celebrity game are asked to do so in writing to Amy Summers in the Dodgers' Public Relations Department at amys@ladodgers.com.

Equipment and merchandise for the game will be provided by Reebok, Rawlings, New Era, JetBlue, and Coca Cola.
