City Year Los Angeles
City Year believes education has the power to help every child reach his or her full potential. However, in high-poverty communities there are external factors and obstacles students are faced with every day that can interfere with their ability to get to school ready to learn.
Jackie Robinson Foundation
The Los Angeles Dodgers and The Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation (LADF) have supported the Jackie Robinson Foundation for many years. LADF continues to honor the legacy of Jackie Robinson with annual scholarships, ongoing programming and Jackie Robinson Day celebrations. In alignment with one of the pillars of the Dodgers Foundation, Education + Literacy, we believe that access, opportunity and supports are key to ensuring higher education for students of color, the Jackie Robinson Foundation does just that.
The Library Foundation of Los Angeles provides critical support to the Los Angeles Public Library resulting in free programs, resources, and services available to the millions of adults, children, and youth of Los Angeles.
Mayor's Fund for Los Angeles
Summer Night Lights (SNL) addresses gang violence and community building by opening 32 parks to evening programming across the city. SNL organizes programming that ranges from the arts to athletics, community learning and social gatherings.
Spark Los Angeles
Spark LA reaches at-risk students at the right moment in their education and development, equipping them with the confidence, skills and career awareness that can help them thrive in the classroom and in the 21st century workforce.
Vision to Learn
The Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation has partnered with Vision To Learn, a non-profit organization that provides free eye exams and free eyeglasses to elementary school students in low-income communities throughout the Greater Los Angeles area.
