Season-long initiative sponsored by Matt Kemp which hosts 40 different kids from five Boys and Girls Clubs from throughout Southern California at five separate Dodger home games. Before each game, the kids receive a Kemp's Kids t-shirt and get a meet and greet with the Dodger outfielder on the field during batting practice. Photo opportunities and autographs from Kemp are also part of the kids meet and greet. During the game the kids are treated to dinner compliments of Panda Express.
"I'm happy to join my teammates in creating my own program where I will be able to give back to the Los Angeles community," said Kemp. "I think that any of us growing up would have enjoyed watching our favorite players practice and getting to walk on the field at Dodger Stadium and Im happy to make that happen for kids."
