A season-long initiative sponsored by pitcher Chad Billingsley which host kids and their families from Mattel Children's Hospital at six separate Dodger home games.
Before each game, the kids receive a Chad's Champs t-shirt and a meet and greet with the Dodger pitcher on the field for batting practice during the visit. Photo opportunities and autographs from Billingsley are also part of the kids' meet and greet.
All program participants are also given a dinner voucher courtesy of Panda Express.
A season-long initiative sponsored by James Loney which hosts seven different kids from the Reviving Baseball in Inner Cities-Los Angeles Program at seven separate Dodger home games.
Before each game, the kids receive a Loney's Lounge t-shirt and a meet and greet with the Dodger 1st baseman on the field for batting practice during the visit. Photo opportunities and autographs from Loney are also part of the kids' meet and greet.
All program participants are also treated to dinner in the exclusive Baseline Box Club.
A season-long initiative sponsored by Fernando Valenzuela which hosts forty different kids from seven schools and children's organization from throughout Southern California at seven separate Dodger home games. Before each game, the kids receive a Los Amigos de Fernando t-shirt and a meet and greet with the Dodger legend on the field for batting practice during the visit. Photo opportunities and autographs from Fernando are also part of the kids' meet and greet.
"I am excited to continue this tradition that allows Dodger fans to experience being on the field at Dodger Stadium," said Valenzuela. "It's wonderful to meet kids, spend time with them talking about baseball and the Dodgers, and hopefully give them a chance to do something that they would not normally get the opportunity to do."
