Dodger broadcasting legend Vin Scully was honored by Saint John's Hospital at its Annual Caritas Award Gala on October 21, 2000. The event was held at the Century Plaza Hotel in Century City. Proceeds from gala will provide care for critically ill and premature newborn babies by supporting the rebuilding of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit in the new Saint John's Hospital.
