June 30, 1908 > Boston Red Sox ace Cy Young pitches the third no-hitter of his Hall of Fame career when he shuts down the New York Highlanders, 8-0. The 41-year-old Young also becomes the oldest player in history to throw a no-hitter, a record he will hold until 43-year-old Nolan Ryan throws one last no-no in 1990.
