The Giants scored two runs Tuesday afternoon, but that proved to be more than enough for starter Jason Schmidt. Schmidt hurled a three-hit, complete-game shutout. Edgardo Alfonzo was a big part of the Giants offense, as he went 2-for-4, including a double that drove in the second run of the game to help his team take a 1-0 series lead.  Full story >
