Dodgers to hold 'Rally Monday'
Join the celebration at 6:30 p.m. at The Grove
tickets for any Major League Baseball game
If it's playoff time, it's time for Dodgers fans to rally.

After all, the team snatched victory from defeat a club-record 53 times this season in order to win the NL West crown.

To start the postseason off the right way, the club will be holding "Rally Monday," a free event for fans in Los Angeles on Monday. Everyone is invited to be at The Grove Shopping Center -- Town Square (in front of Pacific Theatres) at 3rd Street and Fairfax in Los Angeles at 6:30 p.m.

The event is free of charge and will include special guest appearances by Dodgers owners Frank and Jamie McCourt, Hall of Fame manager and Dodgers senior vice president Tommy Lasorda, City of Los Angeles Mayor James K. Hahn and former Dodgers greats Steve Garvey, Ron Cey and Don Newcombe. Actor Jonathan Silverman will emcee the event, which will include live music from the band Ozomatli, playoff ticket giveaways, raffle prizes, a performance by the USC Trojan marching band and much more.

An initiative through Major League Baseball, all eight playoff clubs are holding a "Rally Monday" event. The postseason begins Tuesday, with Game 1 between the Dodgers and National League Central champion St. Louis Cardinals at Busch Stadium.
