Twins at the plate: The Twins put together a three-run fifth inning that included an RBI single by Alexi Casilla, a Carlos Gomez sacrifice fly and an RBI double from Joe Mauer. Justin Morneau recorded just his second hit of the spring in the first inning. The first baseman was 1-for-3 on the day and he's 2-for-10 overall in Grapefruit League games. Chris Basak slugged a two-run homer to break a 6-6 tie in the bottom of the 10th to win it for the Twins.

Reds at the plate: Adam Dunn went 2-for-2, recording RBI singles in the first and the third innings. Ken Griffey Jr. drew a walk and grounded out in his two plate appearances of the day. Andy Green hit a three-run homer in the eighth inning off right-hander Zach Day to put the Reds up, 6-4.

Twins on the mound: In his first official start of the spring, left-hander Glen Perkins surrendered one run over two innings. He allowed two hits while issuing two walks. Right-hander Casey Daigle gave up two runs on three hits over his two innings. Right-hander Philip Humber pitched one scoreless inning.

Reds on the mound: Starter Jeremy Affeldt gave up just one run over his three innings of work. He allowed one hit while walking two and striking out one in his outing. Left-hander Scott Sauerbeck gave up three runs in his one inning, allowing three hits while walking two.

Grapefruit League records: Twins 2-3, Reds 2-4.

Up next: The Twins head to St. Petersburg on Tuesday for the first of two straight games in the Tampa area. Right-hander Boof Bonser gets the start for the Twins in his hometown as he faces the Rays in the 12:05 p.m. CT start. He will face off against right-hander Edwin Jackson. The Reds will host the Indians on Tuesday at Ed Smith Stadium in a 12:05 p.m. CT start. Reds right-hander Matt Belisle will get the start as he faces off against Indians southpaw Cliff Lee.
