Spring records: Dodgers 9-16, Rockies 11-10.
Up next, Rockies: Right-hander Ubaldo Jimenez, the Rockies' No. 3 pitcher, has struggled in recent outings, and is 1-1 with a 6.89 ERA. In an effort to find his regular-season form, Jimenez will start on Monday against the Brewers at Maryvale Baseball Park in Phoenix. Leadoff man Willy Taveras and No. 2 batter Troy Tulowitzki, who were given Sunday off from the starting lineup, will start for the Rockies.
Up next, Dodgers: The Dodgers play a Monday night game against the Kansas City Royals in Surprise, Ariz. Japanese import Hiroki Kuroda, the expected fourth starter, will start for the Dodgers and he will be followed by 20-year-old sensation Clayton Kershaw. Kuroda has a 5.14 ERA in five spring starts, allowing 16 hits in 14 innings but no home runs. Jorge De La Rosa starts for the Royals. Before the game, Dodgers management will meet in Phoenix to discuss roster decisions. The club leaves for California after Tuesday's game with Milwaukee with an off-day on Wednesday.
