Lowe leaves early with tight elbow
Right-hander not expected to miss next start against Marlins
LOS ANGELES -- Dodgers starting pitcher Derek Lowe left Wednesday night's game against Arizona after five innings with tightness in his right elbow.
Dr. Neal ElAttrache examined Lowe and said he should be ready for his next start, which is scheduled for Tuesday night in Florida.
Lowe was removed for a pinch-hitter during the Dodgers' three-run rally in the bottom of the fifth inning. The only run he allowed was on Stephen Drew's one-out homer on a breaking ball in the top of the fifth. He allowed three hits, one walk and struck out two.
