GLENDALE, Ariz. -- The Dodgers on Tuesday made four roster cuts, including right-hander Jon Link, who is being converted to a starting pitcher from a reliever.
In addition to Link, the Dodgers optioned infielder Russell Mitchell, who had a September callup last year and came into camp with an outside shot at a utility job.
The Dodgers assigned catcher JD Closser and pitcher Roman Colon to Minor League camp.
