    The Tampa Bay Rays today placed 3-Game Packs on sale for 2018 spring training, the team's 10th Grapefruit League season at Charlotte Sports Park.

  • Rays offer contracts to nine arbitration-eligible players

    The Tampa Bay Rays have tendered contract offers to nine of their arbitration-eligible players: right-handed pitcher Alex Colomé, outfielder/designated hitter Corey Dickerson, infielder Matt Duffy, shortstop Adeiny Hechavarria, left-handed pitcher Dan Jennings, infielder Brad Miller, right-handed pitcher Jake Odorizzi, outfielder Steven Souza Jr. and catcher Jesús Sucre.

  • Rays trade Brad Boxberger to D-backs

    The Tampa Bay Rays have traded right-handed pitcher Brad Boxberger to the Arizona Diamondbacks in exchange for minor league right-handed pitcher Curtis Taylor.

  • Rays Claim Micah Johnson Off Waivers from Giants

    The Tampa Bay Rays have claimed infielder Micah Johnson off waivers from the San Francisco Giants, bringing the 40-man roster to its full capacity.

  • Rays announce changes to clubhouse staff

    The Tampa Bay Rays have announced the following promotions to their home clubhouse staff: Ryan Denlinger has been named home clubhouse manager, Tyler Wall has been named home equipment manager and Ryan Riddle has been named assistant home clubhouse manager. In addition, the club has promoted Mike Sandoval to the major league training staff as assistant athletic trainer.

  • Rays add seven players to 40-man roster

    In advance of tonight's reserve list deadline, the Tampa Bay Rays have selected seven players to their 40-man roster: right-handed pitchers Brent Honeywell, Diego Castillo, Yonny Chirinos and José Mujica, first baseman/outfielder Jake Bauers, outfielder Justin Williams and left-handed pitcher Ryan Yarbrough. Tonight's moves bring the Rays 40-man roster to 39 players.

  • Baldelli named Major League Field Coordinator

    In addition, Tom Foley was named special assistant, baseball operations and Jamie Nelson was named to the coaching staff for Double-A Montgomery.

  • Rays and PetPal Animal Shelter partner for sixth "Players and Pooches" calendar

    For the sixth straight year, the Tampa Bay Rays and Pet Pal Animal Shelter have partnered to create the "Players and Pooches" calendar. The calendar, which costs $15, is available online now at raysbaseball.com/ petpal.

  • Rays donate to nonprofit organizations in need from Hurricane Irma

    The Tampa Bay Rays yesterday donated a total of $100,000 in grants to 12 nonprofit organizations located in the Florida Keys, providing relief from Hurricane Irma. The organizations were selected by researching nonprofit organizations in the areas hardest hit, talking to individuals who are in the area providing relief and consulting with Rays community partners for recommendations.
