LOS ANGELES -- The defending National League West Division Champion Los Angeles Dodgers return to Dodger Stadium for a nine-game, 10-day homestand, which begins tonight with a 5:10 p.m. Labor Day game against the San Francisco Giants. Following a three-game series against the longtime rival Giants and a Thursday off day, the homestand continues with three games each against two other NL West opponents, the San Diego Padres and Colorado Rockies.

During the homestand, the Dodgers will continue their relief efforts to aid victims of Hurricane Katrina by offering fans the opportunity to make donations at Dodger Stadium. During the series against San Francisco, the Dodgers will accept donations behind home plate on the Field, Loge, Club and Reserve levels and at the pavilion advance ticket window. In addition, there will be Internet kiosks set up throughout the stadium to assist fans with on-line donations. Also on Wednesday, Sept. 7, as part of Major League Baseball's Roberto Clemente Day celebration, the Dodgers will participate in a "pass the hat" to raise funds for hurricane victims.
