LOS ANGELES -- The Los Angeles Dodgers will present more than 150 games on television in 2008, including 50 from KCAL and 100 from FSN PRIME TICKET. For the second consecutive season, KCAL will air all of its games in HD. All home 2008 Dodgers games telecast on FSN PRIME TICKET will be available in HD; the regional sports network will announce the extent of its road game HD availability in March.

In addition to KCAL and PRIME TICKET, national and regional telecasts on Fox and ESPN will complete the schedule. Currently, FOX's Saturday games are scheduled against the Padres (April 5), Braves (April 19), Angels (May 17), Mets (May 31), Cubs (June 7), Tigers (June 14), Indians (June 21), Phillies (August 23), and Diamondbacks (September 6) with additional games still to be announced. ESPN's Sunday Night Baseball coverage currently has six possible selections, including June 1 against the Mets, June 29 against the Angels, and August 24 against the Phillies, with additional games to be determined.

"We hope there is nothing better for a family than an afternoon or evening at Dodger Stadium," said Owner and Chairman Frank McCourt, "But if you can't be at the stadium, we want you to enjoy the next best thing--watching in the comfort of your home. Our partners will do a great job ensuring that you won't miss a pitch in this 50th anniversary season."

KCAL will also televise six pre-season games, two from Florida, two from Arizona, and two in Los Angeles.

Hall of Fame broadcaster Vin Scully, entering his 59th season as the "Voice of the Dodgers," will call all televised Dodger home games. He'll also handle the road telecasts against the team's National League Western Division opponents (San Francisco, San Diego, Arizona, and Colorado).

"Vin is more than the "Voice of the Dodgers," said club Vice Chairman and President Jamie McCourt, "Vin is the voice beneath the pillow. Can you imagine a club being as fortunate as we to have storytellers such as Vin Scully and Jaime Jarrín connecting generations of teams and families? They speak from their hearts, and their words go right into our hearts."

For Dodger road games against non-NL West opponents, the broadcast booth will be manned by Emmy Award-winning broadcaster Charley Steiner and former Major Leaguer Steve Lyons, who are both returning for their fourth seasons.

"Everyone at KCAL 9 is looking forward to celebrating the Dodgers' 50th anniversary in Los Angeles through our game broadcasts, 'Think Blue TV' pre-game shows, and comprehensive daily coverage during 'Sports Central' both on KCAL 9 and CBS 2," said Don Corsini, President and General Manager, KCAL 9 and CBS 2. "We are especially excited about televising the Dodgers' historic return to the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum on March 29 for a game against the defending World Series champion Red Sox that we know will bring back great memories and also raise funds for ThinkCure, the Dodgers' official charity, which we are proud to support."

"We're proud to be the destination for the most comprehensive coverage of the Dodgers, especially this year, as we all commemorate 50 years of the Dodgers in Los Angeles," said Steve Simpson, Senior Vice President and General Manager of FSN WEST and FSN PRIME TICKET. "During the 2008 season, FSN PRIME TICKET will share this celebration with Los Angeles fans and the team by using our 100 game telecasts and Dodger-dedicated original programming to share stories of the people and the plays of the last half century."

In Interleague play this year, in addition to taking on the Angels, the Dodgers battle the AL Central. The team heads to Detroit on June 13 for three games with the Tigers, with Friday's game on KCAL, Saturday's on FOX, and Sunday night's game up for ESPN selection. The following weekend, June 20-22, the Cleveland Indians come to Los Angeles for a three-game series. Friday June 21 and Sunday June 22 can both be seen on PRIME TICKET, and Saturday's game will be televised on FOX.
