Dodgers never quite get going vs. O's
Offense held to four hits; starter Tomko treated harshly

Dodgers at the plate: They had only four hits, including three doubles, and didn't get a runner past second base.
Orioles at the plate: Nick Markakis hit a solo home run in the first inning, a two-run shot in the third, had an RBI triple in the fourth, and added a single. Brandon Fahey doubled home Chris Gomez in the second inning. Ramon Hernandez doubled home Miguel Tejada in the third. Tejada doubled home two in the sixth.
Dodgers on the mound: Starter Brett Tomko allowed two homers, six extra-base hits and six runs in four innings. Joe Mays followed and allowed two runs in three innings. Joe Beimel and Chin-hui Tsao pitched scoreless innings.
Orioles on the mound: Starter Steve Trachsel allowed a pair of doubles and a pair of walks in six innings. Jeremy Guthrie struck out the side in the seventh and finished with two scoreless innings. Todd Williams pitched a scoreless ninth.
Grapefruit League records: Dodgers 13-11; Orioles 11-9-2.
