Taking 0.00 ERA into game, starter allows seven runs over four

Cubs at the plate: Carlos Zambrano did it all, adding to his pitching a three-run homer in a four-run second inning and an RBI double in a three-run fourth. Reed Johnson had a single, double and triple and two RBIs. Former Dodgers farmhand Koyie Hill had four hits, including a two-run homer in the fifth inning. Aaron Miles and Andres Blanco had a pair of hits each.

Dodgers at the plate: Casey Blake cashed in James Loney's double with an RBI single in the second inning. A.J. Ellis had an RBI double in the fifth inning and scored on Rafael Furcal's groundout.

Cubs on the mound: Zambrano went five innings for the win, allowing three runs on three hits with two walks and a strikeout.

Dodgers on the mound: Starter Randy Wolf was roughed up for seven runs on 10 hits in four innings, allowing Zambrano's three-run homer. James McDonald allowed a two-run homer to Hill in the fifth inning.

Cactus League records: Cubs 10-11, Dodgers 9-10

Up next: The Dodgers are off Wednesday, except for Chad Billingsley, who will remain on his regular rotation and pitch in a Minor League intrasquad game. On Thursday, the Dodgers again host the Rockies, with Clayton Kershaw starting, followed by key relievers Guillermo Mota, Cory Wade and Hong-Chih Kuo.
