"Since I pitched with a lot of intensity, there's a little bit of tightness, but it's very normal," said Kuroda. "There's no pain or discomfort like before. I'm a little tight all over my body, but that's very common from a game. I have the same tightness in my shoulder and back."Kuroda said he was able to throw all of his pitches and his command was good enough that he had no walks. Meanwhile, injured outfielder Xavier Paul remains hospitalized while being treated for a staph infection. And pitcher Jeff Weaver, who developed a blood blister during his Wednesday night spot start, was still unavailable on Saturday with the finger bandaged, but Torre anticipated Weaver returning to the bullpen on Sunday. Eric Milton, Tuesday's scheduled starter, was being reserved for long relief on Saturday night.
