Wolf will be making his first start in 10 days after hyperextending his left elbow while swinging a bat in batting practice.
Kershaw's separated right (non-throwing) shoulder healed enough that he was able to throw a bullpen session. He said he expects to throw a simulated game Friday and start a game some point on the final trip to Washington, Pittsburgh and San Diego.
"That's my hope, if everything goes as planned," Kershaw said. "It felt all right, but it was a big step to get on the mound and do it. I'm still getting better every day. I'm not 100 percent yet."
Mota was disabled Aug. 30 with what the club listed as an ingrown toenail. He has been throwing in the bullpen before games the entire time.
First baseman James Loney said he had no ill effects from his face-first collision into the torso of first-base umpire Sam Holbrook in San Francisco. Loney said he felt a pop but compared it to a free chiropractic adjustment of his neck and spine.
