Mattingly loses challenge on inning-ending play

SAN DIEGO -- Dodgers manager Don Mattingly lost a challenge in the seventh inning of Sunday's game with the Padres.

Dee Gordon put down a drag bunt with none on and two outs in the top of the seventh inning with the Dodgers leading. San Diego first baseman Tommy Medica gloved the ball and made a swipe tag, with first-base umpire Will Little calling him out.

After a review, it was ruled that the play would stand as replay was inconclusive and the inning was over.
