Kinsler said the issue was not the result of his awkward headfirst slide in the first inning of Thursday's 10-4 win over the Tigers, but reacting to getting hit by a pitch from Justin Verlander.

Lewis set for Monday rehab start after bullpen
Rangers pitcher Colby Lewis, who has been sidelined with triceps tendinitis, threw approximately 35-38 pitches in a bullpen session without any problems and is scheduled to resume his medical rehabilitation assignment on Monday for Double-A Frisco.
