On Monday night, the Dodgers went 1-for-17 with runners in scoring position. The opener with the Nationals wasn't much different, as Los Angeles threatened repeatedly but did not cash in, spoiling a quality start from Derek Lowe. The Dodgers have now lost five in a row.
