Dodgers 5, Giants 4
Clayton Kershaw allowed a homer as his only hit in seven innings. (Mark J. Terrill/AP)
By Ken Gurnick / MLB.com
James Loney's patience was rewarded in the first inning when he earned a bases-loaded walk to start the Dodgers scoring, and he ended the game in like fashion, getting a walk-off free pass in the ninth. Clayton Kershaw didn't get the win, but he was spectacular in seven innings, striking out 13 batters.
