Mike Burns had the best start of his young career, fanning seven and holding the Dodgers scoreless until surrendering back-to-back homers in the fifth. Seth McClung, Todd Coffey and Trevor Hoffman combined for four innings of scoreless relief. Frank Catalanotto homered.
