Chad Billingsley put in his shortest start in nearly two months, allowing three runs on eight hits in four innings, and the Dodgers struggled to pick him up against their former ace, Brad Penny. Penny shut L.A. down through six before Russell Martin homered for the second straight game with a two-run shot in the seventh.
