Mets players Bay, Francoeur and Reyes set to unveil their personally designed jerseys, T-shirts and caps
Items designed by Beltran and Santana also to be unveiled

NEW YORK -- On Wednesday, June 9, during a press conference at Citi Field, the Major League Baseball Players Association and New York Mets players Jason Bay, Jeff Francoeur and Jose Reyes will unveil the Players Choice Signature Series™ jerseys, T-shirts and caps the players designed exclusively for their fans, with each product expressing their unique personalities and attitudes.

When: Wednesday, June 9, starting at 3 p.m. ET

Where: Citi Field's main media interview room

Who: New York Mets players Jason Bay, Jeff Francoeur and Jose Reyes; MLBPA & Modell's Executives

The jerseys, T-shirts and caps designed by the Mets players as part of the Major League Baseball Players Association’s Players Choice Signature Series™ will go on sale for the first time that day at New York Metro-area Modell’s locations, at the Players Clubhouse retail store at Citi Field during that evening’s Mets game and online at MLB.com. The players produced the products during a two-month design and manufacturing process with the MLBPA and its apparel licensees, VF/Majestic (jerseys & T-shirts) and Twins/Banner 47 (caps).

Players from the New York Yankees, Philadelphia Phillies and Minnesota Twins also designed caps, T-shirts and jerseys as part of the Signature Series program. The Yankees unveiled their designs on Wednesday, June 2, the Phillies on June 4, and the Twins will do so on Thursday, June 10.

The Major League Baseball Players Association (www.MLBPLAYERS.com) is the collective bargaining representative for all professional baseball players of the 30 Major League Baseball teams and serves as the exclusive group licensing agent for commercial and licensing activities involving active Major League baseball players.
