Florida Marlins players to create unforgettable memories for Miami children
Players Trust unites with the Miami Community Charter School to provide once-in-a-lifetime experience at Dolphin Stadium through “Buses for Baseball” program

MIAMI -- Prior to this afternoon’s game, Florida Marlins players will provide everlasting memories to a group of local children as the Major League Baseball Players Trust’s “Buses for Baseball” program heads down to south Florida.

Courtesy of the players’ charitable foundation and the Miami Community Charter School, the select group will receive round-trip transportation to the game, meet the players, and receive free tickets, food, beverages and souvenirs.

“Buses for Baseball”, a program administered by the Players Trust and underwritten by Majestic Athletic, a division of VF Imagewear, Inc., provides transportation and personal greetings for underprivileged children attending Major League Baseball games as invited guests of their big league heroes.

The Players Trust enjoys support from the Miami Community Charter School and the Marlins organization in providing this unique, up close and personal opportunity to share the thrill of Major League Baseball with those less fortunate. “Buses for Baseball” provides many children with their first chance to attend a Major League Baseball game.
