Season Ticket Holder of the Month

Steve Maciejewski

Seat Location: Section 117, Row 24

How long has your family had season tickets?

We've had the seats since 2003, the last season at the Vet.

Who is your favorite current player and why?

Cliff Lee, here is a guy who came to Philly and gave it all he had. Then he gets traded and comes back then doesn't miss a beat. He gives 100% all of the time.

Who is your favorite player of all time and why?

Johnny Callison, he was a great idol for a young fan in the 60's. Plus who could forget his home run to win the 1964 All Star Game for the National League.

What is your best memory as a fan?

It has to be the last game of the 2008 World Series. It was two unbelievable nights of action. It was like watching a great movie with Act 1 , intermission, and Act 2 - the best finale.

What is your favorite concession?

It's a toss-up between Planet Hoagie and Bull's Barbeque.

If you were a player, what song would you want played while you were announced to bat?

"Dark Side of the Moon" by Pink Floyd which, by the way, is 40 years old this year!

What position would you play if you were a member of the Phillies and why?

I'd play catcher since I played it for 11 years in little league. You are always in the action and involved in every play.

What is the best part of Citizens Bank Park?

I love the whole layout, having great seats and Ashburn Alley for all sorts of food concessions.

What is the best part of being a season ticket holder?

We enjoy the experience of enjoying a safe environment for the family and having a venue to bring friends and business associates out for an enjoyable day or evening of baseball.

Where were your season tickets at Veterans Stadium (if applicable)?

Section 222 - looking right up the third base line.

Have you ever caught a foul ball or homerun, if so who hit it?

No, but there's always hope.

If you could start any Phillies pitcher in Game 7 of the World Series who would it be and why?

I'd go with Cole Hamels I think he has earned it and is at the top of his game.

Do you remember the first Phillies game you ever attended as a fan? If so when was it?

I guess it was around 1960 at Connie Mack with my dad we sat just past third base upstairs. I was 7 years old and the Phils played the Dodgers - of course, the Phillies won.

What is your favorite promotion or giveaway?

I like any kind of cap giveaway.

If you could have dinner with one Phillies player who would it be and why?

Erik Kratz, I met him casually during the off season and just seemed to be the type of person you would want to hang out with.

Any stories or facts that you would like to add?

We celebrated my daughter Jess's 10th birthday at The Park with the birthday package. She loved the attention from the fans singing to her and seeing her name up in lights.
