Bundy is in his second season as Dodger third base coach and eighth year in the Dodger organization… in his first season as a Dodger Major League coach, Bundy played a significant role in infield and outfield defensive alignment, bunting and baserunning…managed Dodgers' Triple-A club in Albuquerque (2011-13) and the Isotopes went 225-206 (.522) and tied a franchise record with 80 wins in 2012, when he was honored as the Pacific Coast League's Manager of the Year… overall, the 56-year-old has managed 12 seasons in the minors in the Expos (1990-94), Marlins (1997) and Dodger organizations (2007-08, 2010-2013) and the 2014 season marked Bundy's fourth time serving on a big league coaching staff after working as the Marlins' bench coach (1998), the Rockies' bullpen coach (1999) and the Diamondbacks' bench coach (2004) and first base coach (2009)…Bundy managed six seasons in the Dodger organization…Bundy previously managed Triple-A Las Vegas from 2007-08 and the Rookie-level AZL Dodgers in 2010…overall, he has accumulated a 753-774 record in 12 seasons as a Minor League manager in the Montreal (1990-94), Florida (1997) and Los Angeles organizations…guided Bradenton to the Gulf Coast League Southern Division title in 1990…has also managed in the Mexican Winter League, where he was named Manager of the Year four times, has won three league championships with three different teams and is the second-winningest manager in league history…managed the Navojoa Mayos this past offseason and achieved his milestone 600th win as a manager in the league…began his coaching career as a player/coach with Jacksonville in 1989 and was also employed as a coach in the Marlins (1995-96), Rockies (2000-02) and Red Sox (2002) minor league systems.

Bundy played eight professional seasons from 1981-89 with stints in the Texas, Pittsburgh and Montreal organizations in addition to playing in the Mexican League after he was originally selected by Baltimore in the 22nd round of the 1977 draft. He hit .318 with 135 home runs and 534 RBI in the Minor Leagues and the Mexican League.

Lorenzo Bundy and his wife of 24 years, Maria Guadalupe (Lupita), live in Tucson, AZ, and have a 21-year-old daughter named Nicole, who is a senior at the University of Arizona studying biology…Bundy has a bachelor's degree in communications from James Madison University (1982), where he is tied for third all-time in home runs (36).
